Our Vision

Towards a Syria where there is equality and choices for all deaf people so that they are able to fulfil their dreams as full citizens of Syria

Our Objectives

To ensure all Syrian deaf children receive primary and secondary education in both Arabic spoken and sign language
To improve access to further and higher education for deaf young people

To provide full access to all mainstream social activities such as cinemas, theatres, and sports
To generate financial support for Syrian deaf clubs, so deaf people can have specialist activities with their deaf peers

Our aim

To raise funds to set up more schools for deaf children in Syria.
To set up centres of further education to enable Syrian deaf young people to move into employment or higher education.
To campaign for full access to all mainstream activities.
To obtain Government support for deaf clubs.
To provide communication clubs for all deaf Syrian children and their families.
To raise funds to provide equipment such as computers and hearing aids for deaf children.

Registration

SDC aims to become an officially liscened UK charity within the next few weeks, thanks to your donations we have managed to appoint a legal advisor to register and follow up on this process.
